He is survived by: his wife Carol Littlejohn Crump; his children, Renee Crump Seymour (John Jefferson "Jeff") of Columbia, MD, Van Crump (Tammy), Dewayne Crump and Eddie Crump (Pam) of Saltillo, MS; his siblings, Geneva Crump Moon of Becker, MS and Dewey Crump (Patty) of Trinity, AL; his sister-in-law Joann Crump of Decatur, AL; his grandchildren, John Jefferson "JJ" Seymour III (Kayla Smith) of Bothell, WA, Daniel Crump of Grand Junction, CO, Stacy Stringer of Jackson, MS, Ashley Clowers (Kory), Dustin, James Crump of Baldwyn, MS and William "Will" Crump (Kathryn) of Guntown, MS; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Royce, Korbin, Kolby, Ainslee Clowers, Jessie Crump and Sawyer Rose Crump.
