She was predeceased by: her son John Bartley Jr.; her siblings, Gelin Grice, Eugene Grice, Horace Grice and Mildred Riley; her niece Antonella Bell; and her nephews, Johnathan Bell, Calvin Williams and Willie Cox.

She is survived by: her son Benjamin William (Gloria); and her grandchildren, Michael Beene and Benji Williams.
