He was predeceased by: his wife Jewel Johnson; and his grandson William Guy Spain. He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanice Spain Pounders (Mitchell) of Booneville, Connie Barnes (Randy) of Nettleton and Michelle Kelly of St. Louis; his siblings, Andy Johnson (Sue) of Wisconsin, Gerald Johnson (Doris) of Baldwyn and Juanita Gamble (Arthur); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Williams (Troy) of Birmingham, Jessica Taylor (Justin) of Booneville, Hunter McKee of St. Louis, Brad Barnes (Kaitlin) of Dry Creek, Courtney Barnes of Dry Creek and Jeff Barnes of Nettleton. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
