He was predeceased by: his father Tommy Carpenter; his grandparents, Guy, Josephine Repult, Boyd and Annie Ruth Carpenter; and his brother Shane Carpenter.
He is survived by: his mother Bobbie Carpenter; his daughter Carlye Hutchinson (Chris); his grandchild Camille Hutchinson; and his siblings, Beverly Harmon, Pam Bates, Janet Swindle (Robert), Brian Carpenter (Paula), Tim Carpenter (Renee) and Bart Carpenter (Linda).
