He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Michael and Myrtle Wilemon Michael; his wife Betty Sue Michael; his daughters, Belinda Michael and Bernita Lambert; and his sisters, Mozelle Lewellen, Neva Whitley and Linda Walden.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Michael (Tabatha) and Richard Michael (Vet); his grandchildren, Tyler Bearden, Hunter Lambert, Kane Lambert (Charlsey), Kali Michael and Taylor Michael (Rushelle); and his siblings, Ruby Barron, Bobby Nell Gray, Barbara Ann Hudson, Jr., Michael and Danny Michael. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
