He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Peters and Louise Peters; and his brother Donald Peters. He is survived by: his wife Duchess "Edna" Peters of Baldwyn; his children, Claudia "Niki" Knight (Spencer) of Mooreville, Cindi Mink (Mike) of Plantersville, Shannon "Shae" Griffith (Shane) of Baldwyn and Jenner Jones (Mary); his sister Mildred Shelton of Tupelo; his sister-in-law Karen Peters of Plantersville; and his brother Tommy Peters (Joyce) of Myrtle. He is also survived by grandchildren; (7) great-grandchildren and (3) great-great-grandchildren; host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
