In loving memory of Birtha Maness (Baldwyn, Mississippi), who departed this world on February 3, 2025 at the age of 73. Birtha leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Birtha may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Birtha touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Maness and Dorothy Shubert Maness; her siblings, William Maness and Dorothy Quay Moore; her nephew Michael Williams; her close friend Tommy Pettigo; and her great-nephew Gregory Charles Fowler.
She is survived by: her sisters, Alice Williams and Debra Voyles; and her close friend James Kuykendall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Booneville Chapel, Gaston Rd Email. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
