He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Hardy and Lillie Mae Melton Hardy; his siblings, Ellis Hardy, Louise Turner and Edith Carlock; and his granddaughter Mandy Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel McGee Hardy; his children, Billie Ruth Reed (Phil) of Baldwyn and Ricky Hardy (Cindy) of Baldwyn; his brother James Hardy of Saltillo; his grandchildren, Angela Coggin, Jana Beaty, Beth Reed of Wetumpka, AL, Kimberly Avent Baldwyn (Jody), Chris Hardy (Morgan), Daniel Hardy Guntown (Lindsay) and Stephanie Robbins Smithville (Mark); and his great grandchildren, Lauren Burleson Baldwyn (Spencer), Emily Coggin, Mackenzie Holley, Edie Beaty, Reed Beaty and Rylan Hardy.
