She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Givhan (Bud) and Birdie Mae McBride Givhan; her husband James Marshall Scott; and her siblings, Louis Meadows, Ellis Meadows, Bessie Roemack, Emma Lee Rogers, Alice R. Dennis, Lola Hill, Mable Clifton, Irene Clifton and Leona Givhan Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Missionary Doris Rogers, Deacon Willie Scott (Sharon), Betty Fox (Obie), Z'Kiya Jones, Samantha Westbrook (John), Kimberly Montgomery (Robert), Mildred Crayton and Tamika Mitchell (RL); her siblings, Zeola Meadows and Raymond Givhan (Louise); and her close friends, Ollie Penson and Joyce Smith. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
