With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allen Clayton in Baldwyn, Mississippi, born in Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Howard and Lavada Wilder Clayton; his wife Martha Clayton; his brother Alvis; and his sister-in-law Lorise Clayton.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Hutcheson (Bob), Diane Moody (Randy) and Perry Clayton (Kay); his grandchildren, Amanda Schaeffer (Brian), Kelli Greer (Shohn), Shaunda Caples (Kyle), Josh Moody (Cleo) and Chris Clayton (Connie); his sister Pat Clayton; his nieces, Carolyn Rackley (Glenson) and Phyllis Reeder (Jackie); his nephew Shane Clayton (Jimma); his stepchildren, Patricia Heatherly, Debra Ross, Denise Horton, Billy Kramer, Greg Kramer and Gary Kramer; and his brother-in-law Johnny Gory (Betty). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
