He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hughes and Annie Hughes; his wife Gloria Talbert Hughes; his grandson Frost McCoy; and his son-in-law Don McKee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robbie H. McKee of Bailey, Judy H. Rutledge (Kenneth) of Bailey and Angie H. McCoy (Jason) of Columbus, MS.; his grandchildren, David Mckee (Jennifer), Brad Mckee, Keely R. Followay (Jamie), Kirby R. Simmons (Brandon) and Myles McCoy; and his great grandchildren, Emmalee, Kennedy McKee, Lexy, Lakyn Followay and Paxton Simmons.
The family suggests memorial contributions are shared with a charity of donors' choice.
