He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Floyd Burrell of Indianola; his children, Samuel Douglas "Chip" Burrell Jr. of Tupelo and Dana Burrell Lipsey (Bill) of Sunflower; his grandchildren, Megan Burrell Schrader of Ringgold, GA, Caleb Burrell of Chattanooga, TN, Wyatt Lipsey of Oxford, Hank Lipsey (Avery) of Oxford and Eli Lipsey of Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Heath, Ben, Natalie Schrader and Daniel Burrell.
