He is survived by: his wife Sara Myers Makamson of Avon; his sons, David Makamson of Laurel, Kenny Makamson (Diane) of Cleveland and Todd Makamson (Barbara) of Bossier City; his grandsons, Jason Makamson (Mary Michael) and Jonathan Makamson (Sarah Shepherd); and his great grandchildren, Sarah Hardin and William Makamson.
