She is survived by: her husband Waymon "Buster" Samples, Sr.; her children, Pete Samples (Lea) of Ashland, MS, Kim Thrasher (Ricky) of Ripley, MS and Lori Duke (Leslie) of Ashland, MS; her brother David Richardson, Jr. of Ripley, MS; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Samples of Ashland, MS, Jake Hodum (Kecia) of Ashland, MS, C. J. Terry (Charles) of Falkner, MS, Rece Wommack of Falkner, MS, Wesley Thrasher (Katie) of Ripley, MS, Amy Richardson (Josh) of Kossuth, MS and Kaylee Duke of Ashland, MS. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
