It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Ellen Autry Childers of Ashland, Mississippi, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Rubel Childers; her son Craig Childers; her sisters, Nannie Mae Coleman, Mary Liles and Pauline Smith; her grandmother Thompson (Betty Graves); and her brothers, Authur McMullen, Arnold McMullen, Gene McMullen, Billy McMullen and James Autry.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hardin of Ripley, MS. and Kevin Childers (Melody) of Ashland, MS; and her grandchildren, Shannon Goolsby of Ripley, MS, Mollie Smith of Ripley, MS, Kristin Pollard of Grove City, OH, Kelly Costanzo of Temecula, CA and Nathaniel Childers of Ashland, MS. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
