She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Pinkney Samples and Ida Lou Shelby Samples; and her siblings, Clyde, Troy, Pete, Dube Samples, Mildred Morgan and Melvie Grace Elliott.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Dickerson, Jr., Patricia Robinson (Dennis) of Potts Camp, MS and Teresa Brewer (Skipper) of Potts Camp, MS; her brother Buster Samples of Ashland, MS; her grandsons, Jason Robinson (Donna), Scotty Brewer (Melissa), Christopher Brewer, Dalton Dickerson (Samantha) and Dustin Dickerson; and her great grandchildren, Ragan Robinson, Chandler Robinson, Amy Brewer, Daniele Brewer, Hunter Dickerson, DJ Dickerson, Skylar Dickerson and Grayson Dickerson.
