She was predeceased by: her children, Phil Bennett and Shan Bennett; her siblings, Wilma Alberson, Cecil Alberson and Eddie Alberson; and her grandchildren, Summer Alley, Jenna Allen, Dillon Bennett, Dalton Bennett, Christian Bennett and Kimberly Bennett.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Bennett of Ashland, MS; and her children, Charles Bennett (Kristy) of Falkner, MS, Sherry Bennett of Ashland, MS and Michelle Hurt (Ethan) of Ashland, MS. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren.
