It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald W. Gentry of Artesia, Mississippi, born in Marks, Mississippi, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert Gentry, Sr. and Nellie June Bell; and his siblings, Eunice, Palma, Hilman, W. A. Jr., Merrill, Malcolm, Doris and Maybelle.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Walker Gentry; his children, Gerald Wayne Gentry, Jr. (Sue), Debby Howze (Odis) and Angie Lewis (Rusty); his grandchildren, Amy Robertson Gonzalez (Jim), David Gentry (Tina), Wil Robertson (Diana), Randy Gentry, Lindsey Lewis, Lacey Braden (Dustin) and Lesley Lewis; and his siblings, Shirley Brown, Peggy Phillips, Billie Noland and Mickey Gentry. He is also survived by three children, seven grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
