He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Haskins and Edna Stennett Valentine; and his brothers, Brent Valentine, Joe Joe Valentine and Jerry Valentine.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Valentine of Fulton; his son Brian Valentine (Kristie) of Fulton; his stepdaughters, Rachel Prestidge of Aberdeen and Kim Fretwell (Eric) of Aberdeen; his siblings, Charlie Valentine (Jackie) of North August, SC, Guy Valentine (Teresa), Mike Valentine, Nila Wicker (Darrell) of North Augusta, SC, Sandra Byrd (Eddie) of Simpsonville, SC and Yvonne Munn (Gene) of North Augusta, SC; and his grandchildren, C. J. Valentine (Maddie), Hailey Valentine (Payton), Trinity Valentine, Karsun Caldwell (Jenna), Austin Fretwell (Linda) and Landon Fretwell.
