Sidney McLeod Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney McLeod (Amory, Mississippi), who passed away on June 24, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Elsie Israel of Texas; his former wife Leota Palmer McLeod; and his sons, Johnnie McLeod and Paul McLeod. He is survived by: his wife Betty Barnes McLeod; his daughters, Sue Fairchild of Arkansas and Recia Edmonson of Arkansas; and his stepdaughters, Judy Tyree (Mike) of Becker, Anita Vaughan (Dwight) of Becker and Cindy Harmon (Randy) of Becker. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Louisiana Missionary Baptist Seminary, 102 Seminary Lane, Minden, LA 71055.
