He was predeceased by: his parents, James Melvin and Musa Leona Curran Holman; the mother of his children Dorothy Holman; his daughters, Julie Berry and Karen Pope; his siblings, Iris Allison and Winston Holman; and his great grandchild Philip Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Hood Holman of Amory; his children, Susan Prochazka (Kent) of Houston, TX, Mary Katherine Mastrangelo (Mike) of Bend, OR, Jay Holman (Michelle) of Amory and Chris Francis (Christie) of Baton Rouge, LA; and his grandchildren, Timothy Holman (Ashley), Jillian Griffith (Andrew), Elizabeth, Claire, Lucia Mastrangelo, Amelia Pope, Baxter Francis (Katherine), Ethan Francis, Zachary, Erin Prochazka, Anabelle, Lucas Holman, Addi, Olivia, Eva Holman, Jack Francis and Lexii Griffith.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Salvation Army.
