It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Retha Hunt (Amory, Mississippi), who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Kennedy and Pearlie Sullivan Kennedy; the father of her children Carroll Hunt; and her husband Prentiss Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Mark Hunt (Melissa) of Shannon, Jan Pierce (Robert) of Wren, Kathy Zappa (Jess) of Amory, Suzy Baugh (Saverino) of Amory and Carol Seger (Ronald) of Wren. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
