We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Mary Ann Tyra (Amory, Mississippi), born in Waukegan, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Puzek and Helen Turkowski Puzek; her husband Rufus Tyra; her brothers, Donald Puzek and Tom Puzek; and her son David Tyra.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Wilbanks (April) of Amory, Michael Tyra (Megan) of Amory, Larry Tyra (Jennifer) of Nashville, Dale Wilbanks of Amory, Bobby Tyra (Karan) of Hanover Park, IL, Melissa Jumper (Kevin) of Wynne, AR and Patricia Wilbanks of Amory; her grandchildren, Zack Wilbanks (Karlie), Nathan Wilbanks (Britney), Courtney Russell (Tyler), Kirsti Wilbanks, Eli Tyra (Marla), Sarah Snyder (Andrew), Payton Tyra, Mary Katherine Osborne, Joseph Osborne, Payton Ann Tyra, Easton Tyra, Hunter Chism, Haley Chism, Hope Chism, Lexi White, Ty White, Eli White, Aimee Tyra, Dylan Tyra and Hannah Tyra; her great grandchildren, Miah Snyder, Gracie Wilbanks, Gunnar Wilbanks, Sylas Wilbanks, Liam Wilbanks, Ayden Snyder, John Huguley and Chael Pace; her sister-in-law Margaret Puzek; and her close friends, Frances Sockwell Phillips and Karen Miller.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

We had SO MANY GOOD TIMES TOGETHER. SHE was MY Son's Godmother in 1968, I was a Bridesmaid in her first Wedding. We Truly enjoyed one another's company. I'm out of town at this time but WISH I could be there with Maryann and her entire family. I Love Maryann so Very Much and I want her family to know I wish I could BE THERE.”
