Louise Hanson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Hanson (Amory, Mississippi), who passed away on February 27, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulis Smith, Sr. and Ada McWhirter Smith; her husband James Hal Hanson; her parents-in-law, J. A. and Ollie Mae Hanson; her siblings, Hazel Kitchens, Clara Smallwood, Stanton Smith, Fred Smith and Johnny Smith; and her son-in-law David Tidwell.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Hanson (Lynn) of Columbus, Rebecca Simpson (George) of Birmingham and Elizabeth Hanson Tidwell of Amory; her sisters, Mildred Allen of Huntsville and Anita Boyd of Memphis; her grandchildren, Jonathan Holloway (Natalie) of Olive Branch, Michael Holloway (Erin) of Saltillo, Matthew Hanson of St. Charles, MO, Blake Hanson (Stacie) of Madison, Jacob Hanson (Kristen) of Columbus, Clint Simpson (Ruth) of Collierville, TN and Bethany Simpson Hagler (Josh) of Northport, AL; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Elizabeth, Sadie, Bennett Holloway, Ayden, Lucas, Georgia Hanson, Abigail, Tyler and Mariah Simpson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current COVID guidelines, it is requested a mask be worn at the service.
