He is survived by: his wife Sue Philpot Minga of Amory, MS; his children, Alan Minga (Suzanne) of Huntsville, AL and Sherry Crabtree of Hamilton, AL; his sisters, Ophelia Norton Thomas of Greenwood Springs and Ruth Whitehead; his brother-in-law G. W.; and his grandchild McKalyn Crabtree A Host.
