He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Eric and Myrtis Pitts Ridings; his wife Edna Faye Gordon; and his siblings, Paul Wayne Ridings and Alice Laverne Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Delores Northington (Wayne) of Gattman, Dexter Gordon (Julie) of Vineland, NJ, David Gordon of Columbus and Danny Gordon (Pat) of Muscle Shoals; his grandsons, Dewayne Northington (Claire) of Tremont and Levi Northington (Callie) of Amory; his great grandchildren, Darby and Landry Northington; and his nieces, Betty Childers (Mike) of Wren and Paula Cook (Randy) of Brent, AL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
