He is survived by: his wife Paula Dodds of Aberdeen; his children, Michael Dodds of Aberdeen, Michele Jiminez (Jerry) of Aberdeen and Melisa Easter (Tony) of Smithville; his brothers, Douglas Dodds (Ann) of Olive Branch and William Dodds (Carlene) of Detroit, AL; his grandchildren, Michael Dodds, Jr. (Brooke), Breanna Elaine Barnhart (Taylor), Ashley Pettis (Kyle) and Lori Harris (Denton); and his great grandchildren, Paisley, Adalyn, Sean, Mason, Blaine, Drew and Skyler.
