He was predeceased by: his parents, William Head and Ouida Lewis Head; his wife Allene Pounders; his daughters, Virginia Kay Head and Marilyn Diann Lee; and his siblings, Mae Carpenter, Lorraine Roby, Ruth Ashmore and Lawrence Head.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Holley (Orein) and Thomas Head; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Virginia, Sarah Elisabeth Tennyson, Lindsey Grace Tennyson, Kealy Shields, Danielle Symmonds, Tessa Holley, Hamilton, Sydney Holley, Kelsey Amalfitano (Joe) and Olive Branch; and his close friend Johnny Bishop. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
