With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eddie Reed Sr. (Amory, Mississippi), who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Reed and Martha Wilkins Reed; and his brother John Charles Reed. He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Hester of Amory; his children, Edward "Eddie" Reed, Jr. (Vanessa), Lance Reed of Woodstock, GA and Alika Logan (Jonathan) of Steens; his siblings, Bobby Reed (Rebecca), Bill Reed (Connie) of Batesville and Linda Stroup (Cecil) of Walnut, MS; and his grandchildren, Austin Logan, Ashton Logan, Elijah Green-Reed and Sylas Reed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wound Warrior's Project.
