Doris Hathcock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Hathcock (Amory, Mississippi), born in Smithville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Auzie Little and Marie Fears Little; her husband Kenneth Hathcock; her brothers, Herbert Little (Linda) and Huey Little (Clinese); her son-in-law Johnny Gann, Jr.; and her close friend Wendall Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Hathcock (Sarah), Darrel Hathcock (Kimberly) of Bonham, TX and Wyvonda Gann of Amory; her grandchildren, C. J. Hathcock (Kayla), Valerie Hathcock, Britteny Raditz, Arianna Bailey (Spencer), Abigail Hathcock and Sophia Hathcock; her great grandchildren, Kason Hathcock, Colton Hathcock, Benjamin Bailey and Kyra Kirk; and her close friends, JoAnn Tubb, Sandra Boozer and Jeannie Moffett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Meadowood Baptist Church (1512 Hatley Rd, Amory, MS 38821). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the East Amory Robotics Fund 124 N Main St, Amory, MS 38821.
