With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Burnett (Amory, Mississippi), who passed away on June 12, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Thomas Burnett; her son Thomas Jeffery Burnett; and her brothers, Carl Sturdivant, John Dillard Sturdivant and Curtis Sturdivant.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Plunkett (John) of Smithville and Kenneth Burnett (Nancy) of Amory; her grandchildren, Houston Burnett of Hatley, Justin Sanders (Bridget) of Amory, Chris Sanders (Megan), Derek Dodd of Amory, Angie Burnett of Fulton, Amanda Burnett of Fulton and Tonya Waits (Shannon) of Amory; and her siblings, Cecil Sturdivant of Fulton, Lola Pearl Furtensburg and Mary Dover. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
