He is survived by: his son Charles D. McDonald, Jr. of Hamilton; his siblings, Jimmy McDonald (Jean) of Fulton, MS and Mary Markham (Wilburn) of Tuscaloosa; and also, Buddy Norris and Philip Garrison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
