He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Lee and Sleetie Isabelle Tutor Huey; and his siblings, Carl "Buck" Huey, J. W. Huey, Ollis Eugene Huey, Gertrude Huey Gregory, Gladys Huey Tutor, Ada Huey Coker and Doris Ann Huey Clayton.
