She was predeceased by: her sons, Barry and Kevin Sims; her sister Linda Iris Little; her mother-in-law Bessie Kemp; and her sister-in-law Linda Kay Newton.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Kemp; her siblings, Gail Carter (Bobby) and Perry Newton; and her siblings-in-law, Ginger Bussey and Carl Kemp. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
