With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Becky Benton (Amory, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Haughton and Nancy Avery Haughton; her siblings, Martin Haughton, Jane Haughton and Kay Richey; and her granddaughter Zoe McVain.
She is survived by: her husband Scott Benton; her daughters, Rebecca Nicole Raper (Zach) and Christina Renea Benton; her siblings-in-law, Toy Benton of Amory, Sylvia Benton of Amory and Phil Benton (Sylvia); her grandchildren, Joseph Mattox, Nigel McVain, Noah Sanders, Landon Raper and Logan Raper; and her close friend Cathy Jo Hacker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Cleveland - Moffett Funeral Home (1604 MS-25, Amory, MS 38821). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home (1604 MS-25, Amory, MS 38821).
