With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Lamar Foster of Algoma, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Harris Foster and James Lamar Foster; and his sister Brenda Foster Self. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Ferguson; his children, Susan Fowlkes (Doyle) and Scott Foster (Jill); his grandsons, Michael Scott Foster, Curt Harmon, John Foster Harmon and Preston Foster; his brothers, Dyerl Foster (Regina) and Kevin Foster (Regenia); and his brother-in-law Terry Self (Jill).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Algoma Baptist Church (1012 Algoma Rd, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Algoma Baptist Church Family Life Center, which was a project dear and near to Larry's heart.
