It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Idaree Anderson of Agricola, Mississippi, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Sanna Rae Anderson King; her husband Daniel O. Anderson, Sr.; her parents, Thomas Trymbol Jones (Tom) and Leola Eugenia Vise Jones (Gena); and her siblings, Dolar Inez, Maud Leola Jones Thigpen, Jessie Marie Jones Brown, Thomas Grant Jones (Infant), Charles Luther Jones, Edd Jones, Thomas Austin Jones and William Carl Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel O. Anderson, Jr. (Kathy), Thomas T. Anderson (Gail), Mary Jaye Anderson and Hon; her grandchildren, Patricia Perkins (Tom), Major Michael Damon, Melissa Grohman (Mark), Katie Thomaston (Matthew), Christopher (Theresa), Jonathan (Erin), V. M., Katie Anderson Howell, Caroline Bradley (Cameron), J. D. and Brooks Bradley; and her siblings, Kay Jean Christian (Wayne), Barbara Lou Wade and John T. Jones (Carolyn).
She encouraged everyone to learn and in lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made in their mother's name to Mary Idaree Anderson Scholarship at USM Foundation at the University of Southern Mississippi, School of Nursing.
