She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Jones and James Jones; her siblings, Robert Jones, Earline Callie Jones, Wilson William Jones, Lester Jones, Clara Jones, Luciele Jones, James Jones, John D. Jones, Mertice Jones and Vertis Jones; and her children, John Thomas Gatheright, Gloria Dean Gatheright and Steve Gatheright.
She is survived by: her children, Tommie Jean Gatheright, Myrtle Gatheright, Martha Gladney, Rose McKennie of Billy Joe and Evie Gatheright; and her sister Leona Nunn. She is also survived by Grandchildren 22 and 19 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home- Louisville (226 North St, Louisville, MS 39339). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beck Funeral Home (123 W Main St, Louisville, MS 39339). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the BIG Jerusalem Cemetery (989 Jerusalem Rd, Weir, MS 39772).
