He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Troy Anderson and Robbie Nell Anderson Johnson (Stacy); his sister Barbara Gail Rennels; his daughter-in-law Karen Anderson; his stepmother Lois Anderson; his niece Stacy Nicole Cox; his great-nephew Aubrey Cox; and his stepsiblings, Larry Munn and Diane Webb.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anderson (Brown) of Aberdeen; his children, Scott Anderson of Blue Springs and Renee George of Pontotoc; his grandchildren, Paige Bates (Jonathan) of Blue Springs, Kristin Cox (Damon) of Blue Springs, Michael Anderson of Blue Springs, Kurt Howell, Keely Underwood (Shay) and John Kyle George; his great grandchildren, Kyla, Isaiah, Kylyn, Sky, Asher and Jackson; his stepsisters, Reda Bird (Mike), Brenda Baty (Richard) and Dianne Munn; and his niece Lindsey Cox. He is also survived by nephews, cousins.
