She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Willie L. Swing; her sons, Brian Thompson and Charles Courtney Thompson; her sisters, Cora Devauld, Annie Ivy and Berniece Randle; and her parents, Odell Langston (Mary Whitfield-Langston) and Stella.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Daniel Missionary Baptist Church (1516 S Matubba St, Aberdeen, MS 39730). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.
