He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Fletcher and Mable Young Carson; and his brothers, Jimmy Carson and Tommy Carson. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Catherine Vaughn Carson of Tupelo; his children, Lesonya Whitehead of Tupelo, Phil Carson (Kim) of Aberdeen and Ken Carson of Booneville; and his stepson Mike Causey (Patti) of Nettleton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
