She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Green Howell and Mae Moulder Howell; her husband James Hershel Cole; and her siblings, Doris Nell Howell and William I. Howell (Bill).

She is survived by: her son Jimmy Howell Cole (James) of Lacombe, LA.. She is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
