He was predeceased by: his parents, Orbie Leon and Martha Beatrice "Tootsie" Thompson Gillentine; and his brother Orbie Leon "Gil" Gillentine, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gillentine; his daughters, Rhea Browning and Heather McCullar (Billy); his brother Ricky Gillentine (Paula); his grandchildren, Roger Thomas Browning, Bethany Dean, Ethan Evans, Jacob Evans, Emma Rose Gillentine, Slade Gillentine, Gunnar Gillentine and Lily Bea Evans; and his great grandchildren, Skylar Brooke, Aiden, Zander and Elijah.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Tisdale - Lann Memorial (100 W Washington St, Aberdeen, MS 39730). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
