With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Jones (Aberdeen, Mississippi), who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jackson and Guy Jones, Sr.; his grandmother Aldridge (Ben); his brothers, Guy Jones Jr. (Merriel) and Bobby Jones (Barbara); and his mother-in-law Jeane McClendon (Aaron).
He is survived by: his caregiver Sandy; his daughter Jennifer Adams (Danny); his grandson Jon Mason Adams; his brother-in-law Roger McClendon (Nina) of Homestead; his nephew Tuck Jones (Annette); his niece Joy Jones (Greg); his great-nephew Reed Jones (Andrea); his great-niece MaryElizabeth; his cousins, David Watson (Bess) and Marie Crabtree (Walter); and also, Henry, Cecilia and Mila.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tisdale - Lann Memorial (100 W Washington St, Aberdeen, MS 39730). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Christian Church or Southside Baptist Church in Aberdeen.
