It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Ray Red (Aberdeen, Mississippi), born in Arkabutla, Mississippi, who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ray Red and Mary Louise Davis Red; his wife Joan Little Red; his siblings, Loretta Red and Aubrey Red; and his grandson Rylee Cole Berford.
He is survived by: his children, Ginger Berford (Casey) of Millington, TN, Lonnie Red of Aberdeen and Roy Gentry (Deborah) of Wren, MS; and his siblings, Martha Sykes of Aberdeen, MS, Gene Red of Aberdeen, Leon Red of Okolona, MS and Thomas Red of Hamilton, MS. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
