She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ballard and Ruby Inez Coleman Ballard; and her husband Julian Arthur Brown, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Dr. Arthur Brown (Rosey) of Aberdeen; her grandchildren, Jim Brown (Katie) of West Point and Kimberly Inez Brown Catledge (Alex) of Aberdeen; her great grandchildren, Collins Brown, Mary Charles Brown and Coleman "Cole" Catledge; her close friend Sherrell Sturdivant; and her caregiver Willie Mae Smith.
