He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Banks Shepherd and Grace Ashley Shepherd; his wife Mary Ann Murphree Shepherd; his sister Sissy; his close friend Walter Lann; his children, Tommy Shepherd (Mary Scott) of Jackson, MS, Susan Sanders of Aberdeen, MS and Eva Ann Shepherd of Houston, TX.; his grandchildren, Banks Shepherd (Jenna) of Winston Salem, NC, Martin Shepherd (Randle) of Nashville, TN, Ashley Forrester (Brent) of Caledonia, MS, Mary Margaret Basham (Brett) of Birmingham, AL, April Jacobs (Jay) of Oxford, MS, Torrie Hardcastle of Houston, TX, Mary Hannah Ellis (Andy) of Leeds and England; and his great grandchildren, Polly Shepherd, Micki Grace Forrester, Thomas Forrester, Charlotte Basham, Molly Basham, Bella Jacobs, Nola Jacobs, Maya Davis, Mikey Hardcastle and Maverick Hardcastle. He was also cherished by his family, many friends.
