He is survived by: his wife Alene Burnett of Bellingham; his children, George (Jami Burnett) of Zalma, James (Cheri Burnett) of Brownwood and Dorthy (Ron Safreno) of Clearlake; his sisters, Linda Hopkins of Calvert City, Lometa Burnett of Poplar Bluff and Sue (Dick DeSherlia) of Alton; his sister-in-law Thelma Burnett of Ellsinore; his grandchildren, Robert Bickford, Seth (Shelby Burnett), Paul Burnett, Jocelynn Burnett, Candice Safreno, Elizabeth (Andrew McAtee), Daisy (Doug Froemsdorf), Nekoda Burnett, Ruthie Burnett, Cecelia Burnett, Joseph Burnett, Roland Burnett and Henry Burnett; his great grandchildren, Kieran Bickford, Liam Perkins, Ivory McAtee, Milo Burnett and Delilah Hernandez; his brothers, Mickey Burnett and Pete Burnett; and his grandson Specialist James Burnett Jr..
