He was predeceased by: his father Charles Avon Sr.; his sisters, Theresa McClelland and Kristy Elliot; and his nephew Luke. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Jean McKee (Rowe) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his wife Candy; his daughter Christa Stilts (Lloyd) of Zalma; his siblings, Millard McKee of Seattle, Washington, Mary Meyer of Jackson and Cindy Newby of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Dakota, Angela and Amy. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
