He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark E. Whitehead and Velma I. Whitehead (Koontz); his sisters, Barbara Whitehead and Betty Sedillo; and his brother-in-law Eddie Brewer.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Whitehead; his children, Mark Whitehead (Kathy) of Collinsville, IL, Wayne Whitehead (Sarah) of Davenport, IA, Forrest Whitehead of Lake Whitney, TX, Jeffrey Whitehead of Texas and Bonnie Henke (Jerry) of Granite City, IL; and his sister Bonnie Brewer of Kahoka. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
